You also have multiple campsites playing loud music during the day, so you hear like 10 different radios going and each are trying to compete with each other. After about 9 or 10 pm it gets pretty quiet, we didn't experience anyone not following the rules during quiet time during our visit. However, based on other reviews your mileage may vary. Transfer Park Campground is close to several trails, including the Burnt Timber Trail which has accesses to City Reservoir, Mountain View Crest, Lime Mesa, and the Weminuche Wilderness. The RV park comprises a small dog area, spacious gravel sites, a small laundry room, and with the Animas River running right through it. Located right near the beginning of the Colorado/Junction Creek Trail in the San Juan Forest, Junction Creek Campground lies about 6 miles (9.6 km) from Durango. The campground allows visitors to try their hand at fly-fishing, mountain biking on the Colorado trail, white-water rafting and more. The campground features single/double-family campsites, a 50-person group campsite and a day-use 65-person, electricity-equipped picnic shelter. The campsite also features drinking water, vault toilets, campfire rings and tables, volleyball court, and grills.
Pets are welcome, but guests should be aware that dogs are not permitted on the hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park. The sites can be a little close but the setup allows for privacy. We did not use the facilities so I can't comment to those but, the grounds themselves were well maintained and the staff was friendly.

It’s an incredibly peaceful and beautiful place to visit, nearly all year round. Our compact unit is a fully self-contained RV. The floorplan features a unique rear kitchen design with all the amenities of a larger unit. Long term tenants must use propane as their heat source and have propane delivered regularly. During our visit, Monday through Friday there were probably less than 15 campers the week leading up to 4th of July but Friday, Saturday and Sunday almost every spot was filled. This RV campground is another “destination” resort. While there is abundant wildlife in the area, and there are hiking trails on the 45-care “ campus,” the main attraction may be nearby Colorado Springs. The land is flat, and southern Colorado can be hot, but visitors at this campground are close to the Arkansas River where cooling down and splashing around are in order. This RV campground is unique, offering a dog walking area that boasts grass and two ponds.
